Parent classes and talks

We offer a range of classes and informative talks designed specifically for parents to attend throughout the year. These sessions are tailored to provide valuable insights, guidance, and support for parents in various aspects of child development, parenting, and family well-being.

Play and Stay Sessions

We encourage parents to participate in their child's centre experience. If you have free time during the week and would like to join us for a meal or engage in activities with your child and their friends, please reach out to your key educator or contact the centre office to coordinate your involvement. Your presence enhances the centre experience for both you and your child.

Events for the Children

At our centre, we actively celebrate a diverse range of religious observances, festivals, and national holidays. We regularly provide parents with information about these events on a monthly basis and warmly encourage their active participation. Joining in these celebrations helps create a rich and inclusive cultural experience for both children and their families.

Child safety is our number 1 priority

At our centre, safety and quality early learning sit at the heart of everything we do. Our rigorous staff screening and ongoing training processes ensure that every educator is fully qualified, well prepared, and comprehensively trained in child safety. We maintain consistent educator teams to build strong, trusting relationships with children and families, and we do not use agency staff. This consistency creates stability, connection, and confidence within each centre.

Our environments are intentionally designed to promote safety, supervision, and accountability. CCTV monitoring operates in key areas, room layouts support clear lines of sight, and our routines are structured to allow smooth, well supervised transitions throughout the day. Continuous supervision and strong team support ensure a respectful and secure learning environment for every child.

Most importantly, children’s wellbeing and voice guide our approach. Every child is seen, heard, and supported. Body safety education is thoughtfully embedded into our program and resources are available to families to extend these conversations at home. Our learning spaces are also strictly personal device free, allowing educators to be fully present and engaged with the children in their care.

Community focussed

At North Star Early Education, we believe a centre should be more than just a place of learning. It should be an active, positive contributor to the community it calls home. We are deeply invested in the local communities in which our centres operate, and we keep this front of mind in everything we do.

We proudly support local sporting clubs, community groups, and events through ongoing sponsorships and donations. We regularly attend community fairs and local initiatives, not just as participants, but as active contributors who genuinely care about the families and neighbourhoods around us.

Our commitment to community is intentional and long term. By building strong local partnerships and giving back wherever we can, we strengthen the sense of belonging for our families and ensure our centres remain connected, supportive, and engaged within the communities we serve.

Change of Clothes

Accidents happen! Please include a full change of clothes, including underwear and socks, to keep your child comfortable throughout the day.
